SUBMISSIONS

 We are accepting submissions year-round to publish at most three works every week. Send us your work. It doesn't have to be your "best piece", let it show us images we want to remember, make us wonder when we are probably sipping tea or in the middle of a chess game. As a new literary site, we are keen on publishing poetry, stories, and artwork at the time. 

VOLUME

    We publish anything that can be read or seen within a page or two of a Microsoft Word document; that is art, beautiful, and morally acceptable. We are not open to erotica at the time, however, your use of words should not be limited, especially if such words are necessary to be used.

    For poetry, send up to 3 poems. Short stories should be between 500-2000 words. Send up to 3 artworks. Poets and storytellers may submit original artworks to go with their work, and in this case, the related works should be indicated by titles. E.g. Artwork Title_For_Poetry/Story Title. One creator is not allowed to submit in all categories.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

1. You must be the original creator.

2. Your work(s) is previously unpublished.

3. It must be submitted as text or as  Jpg./JPEG. image directly to our email address: thereelofpoetry@gmail.com. If your text has a unique format or structure, we'll try as much as possible to retain it here.

4. Be ready to reply to our suggestions on editing your work, in a case where our editors perceive that your piece may need a rework. We want to ensure that budding writers find expression at THREPOSS and little mistakes should not become a barrier, especially when an idea is new and with great content.

5. Express yourself, we want to see genuine works. Works that criticize, correct, educate, heal; that is therapeutic, works that reflect you yet, mirrors the society.

6. Simultaneous submissions are allowed. Please, notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere.

7. A bio of not more than 100 words should be pasted after your work(s) on the body of the email. Email subject should be GENERAL_Category. E.g. GENERAL_Story.

REPLY

Accepted works will be notified between seven days. Please, if you do not get a reply between a week, send us a query as a reply to the previous mail.

PAYMENT

At the time, we are unable to reward selected works, especially in this category. We are hoping to become a paying magazine soon! Accepted works will be publicized on our social media handles and base on the volume of acceptance you get here, you may qualify for writing masterclasses or other courses that ThrepossLearn will be hosting in the future.

When we call for submissions for anthologies, the featured writer(s) are paid stipends between N2000 - N5000. Please, check back to see our next call.
